Multi-screen Visuals
HITO at Naves Matadero
5 May 2018
Commissioned by Japan Foundation Madrid and Naves Matadero, I developed multi-screen visual concept and performed live show at Naves Matadero Madrid with Berlin based compatriot DJ HITO. Digitally composed Japanese flowers on multi-projection setup, refereing to Ogata Korin’s Copy and Paste painting technique on byōbu screens, empowered HITO’s organic vinyl only playstyle.
This project was also a personal collaboration between myself and my mother since the original photos of Japanese flower were taken by my mother around Nara and Kyoto in Japan.
