Audiovisual Concert
Complex Composition
2009 - 2010
Complex Composition is a series of audiovisual concert piece I produced at IAMAS. Both sound and images are generated in realtime simultaneously on each and every frames according to values calculated by math formula written in SuperCollider. The algorithm take shape as a pure geometric time axis.
The performance is achieved by execution of the program. Excluding any control by hand. Focusing on purely computational audiovisual composition, the piece is designed to throw a question at the audience. What is a performance in computer music after all?
